The KW Chess Club is one of the largest and Most Active
chess clubs in Canada.
We are a not-for-profit, member-based organization that promotes the
game of chess. The club's strength is in its membership, and we welcome players of all
ages and ability. So if you are just beginning to learn how the pieces move, or you are a battle-hardened veteran of the board - come out and join us for a
game of chess!
The KW Chess Club meets every Tuesday at Kitchener City Hall located in the
heart of downtown Kitchener at 200 King Street West. You can find us in the 'Conestoga
Room' behind the rotunda on the main floor, and in the 'Learning Room' on the 2nd Floor.
The KW Club also operates a Youth club on Sunday afternoons in the
same location.
Club hours:
- Tuesday evenings 7:00pm - 10:30pm - all ages
- Sunday afternoons 1:00pm - 4:00pm - youth
